My baby

is off to high school.

It doesn't seem all that long ago that I stood with her in the school playground waiting to get called in for her first day of kindy. I stood there in amongst the sea of weeping mothers and new kindy students, not quite sure what motherly advice I should bestow on her to keep her in line - given that the principal was unlikely to tolerate any poor behaviour on her part ;)
She looked at me squarely and said " Mum, please leave now before you embarrass me."

7 years later and things haven't changed much - except maybe that she doesn't have her father as her principal. I was allowed a small amount of photos before being instructed that it would be best if I left. At least this time there were 30 or so other parents receiving the same advice.

Well done babe, you sucessfully navigated primary school. Heaven help us next year when you need to leave for school at 7.20am instead of 8.55.......

She is so adorable and looks exactly like you Ro. I hope she had a fabulous night. She looks too little to be going to high school

Ohhh Ro she is beautiful. I agree with Leanne - she looks way too little for high school. Hope she had a great night at her social!

What a beauty! Looks too young for high school. But you're probably on a different system from the US.
